Should have moved both Siakam and OG before they became expiring contracts. They may not have a choice but to sign both of those guys and then move then after to get some semblance of decent value.
He might lose FVV for nothing. Same with Trent Jr

Can’t let assets leave for nothing

Both Siakam and OG have a player option, and I don't think they'll opt out. Both still are good players and contribute to winning.

FVV can't even shoot 40% and Trent Jr. is Oubre Jr. status. Actually stealing money and it's Ujiri's fault.

Is this how he exits Toronto I’d figure the wizards were an option but I’m sure Masai would require more control and say so within the franchise than has previously been extended to GM/Presidents.
The Wizards were originally going to give it to him, but he turned it down to stay in Toronto. Now he's waited too long to the point that another potential GM might be on the market whose higher in demand.

To be fair, it’s not his fault.

The problem is that Drake keeps betting on the Raptors to be good. And everyone knows that when Drake bets on you to win, the universe won’t allow it.

There are cosmic powers at work here
We are merely witnesses.
