Those traits are listed all throughout this thread. Those traits are imposed on us via the media, social interactions and education. Everywhere you look emotions, products even colors are gendered. Think about the color pink, and what we associate with that. As I keep saying, gender is real, but only in its consequences. Theres nothing actual about gender outside of a specific context.

Sexism is. Racism and homophobia are not. But they all work concurrently to the detriment of black people.

Its plenty of women that are sexist.

So... Following that logic, white folks are the most masculine race since they dominated most other cultures and still remain in power today.

According to OP, masculinity is in itself oppressive. "to master, subdue, shape to its will"

If someone does not fit within this narrative are they less of a man?

Definition in first post sounds more like an evil, a$$hole; than a male. Reminds be a George W. Bush.

Masculinity is how strongly willed a man is

A weak willed man won't go to work when he's exhausted and unappreciated

A weak willed man will be stepped on by his wife and children

A weak willed man won't maintain his convictions when people tell him he's wrong

A weak willed man can't lead people
