So take the guns out of law abiding citizens hands and leave them defenseless? People who want to kill or use weapons with no good intention in mind are going to get them any way. The guy also had explosives and I'm pretty sure he didn't buy those from a local gun store. Lets look at some recent news in new york where guns are virtually illegal, yet 4 brothers still got gun downed by an ak. I bet that ak wasn't purchased legally. Or lets talk about felons that get caught with straps. Remember, criminals don't follow laws, so tightening gun laws aint the solution.

In what this reporter feels is some of the most bizarre, disturbing, inexplicable and chilling news yet about the Columbine High School shooting incident is news that a large NATO truck possible more than one and obviously at least some NATO troops, were reportedly present at Columbine High School within MINUTES AFTER THE SHOOTING BROKE OUT!
I ws notified by email by a TV viewer who DISTINCTLY recalls seeing the NATO vehicle while watching local TV station Fox-WFLD in Chicago shortly after the massacre began. The local station was picking up a live feed from a CNN
chopper in the air above Columbine High School.
We have spoken with a station representative of WFLD and can at least verify that indeed they WERE broadcasting the feed as stated. WFLD however apparently has no video record of their own as they were rebroadcasting CNNs (live) video.
This information is EXTREMELY SIGNIFICANT, powerful evidence of what an
utter lie the entire American populace is living under regarding the true,
fundamental status of our nation, whos actually running it, and its very socio/political foundations. This is literally DEVASTATING news for any of us who still believe we live in some sort of free, sovereign democratic republic.
It has long been postulated, with some very good evidence to back it up, that the Denver area is one of the primary command, control and support hangouts for the NEW WORLD ORDER crew . Reams of evidence far to extensive to go over here give substantial weight to such statements.

I didn't elaborate fully on tightening, but I never said to ban the sell of arms. Actually, Holmes was able to purchase all of his firearms legally and that's ridiculous. No way should a normal citizen be able to purchase an assault rifle which has no other purpose than being a tool of war. Without saying, of course there is much need in allowing those to purchase a 9mm or a hunting rifle. However, it seems that you are implying that our gun culture needs to change, but don't you think it must first start with the law?

I'm pretty sure we can both agree that this isn't a black & white subject. With that said I don't have any problems with the current gun laws other than some rules which I believe are not necessary from the batf (for example; a silencer is illegal here, but a requirement in europe). Majority of assault rifles legally bought in the U.S. are either used for hunting or collecting, and I own a couple myself. The only way you can predict someone going postal with their guns is if they have a record or some shyt, kind of like how they dropped the ball on that VA tech shooting where the shooter had a history of mental illness. For the most part though you just dont know whats going through some people's minds. Then you have shyt like this The Secret Online Weapons Store That'll Sell Anyone Anything which doesn't help and the media which makes it more known to suspect people.

Inmate Dima Danilov, 22, said the suspects face was covered with a red towel when he arrived at the jail about two hours after 12 people were killed and 58 injured in the Aurora, Colo., multiplex.
Holmes who had dyed his hair red was also wearing red clothing beneath the black body armor that terrified moviegoers saw when he opened fire early Friday morning, Danilov said.
Jail guards blacked out his windows with duct tape so no one could see him, said Danilov. He was cuffed in the back and had leg shackles.
