Are you suggesting blacks don't face discrimination and racism in the workforce :usure:?

How you answer that will determine if I need continue...
No I'm not, it simply doesn't have anything to do with the discussion.
So how about you actually provide some evidence for the assertions you are making about this automation wave being different and this situation with current jobs being weak. Provide evidence to back up those assertions.

That's why we need to teach our youth to start their own businesses and become an andrepennewer.

:mjlol: Ya'll still don't get it.

Yea' your son's food truck gonna outdo Amazon.

Yea' your daughter's bonique gonna outdo Wal-mart.

We are not gonna "pull ourselves by our bootstraps"

We are grown people paying taxes and cities are offering Amazon those same taxes to line their pockets

But, we too shook to fight this head on

"Yea, everyone I know lost they job to a robot, they should've just had a side hustle"

:snoop: I'm afraid for Americans

this type of fear mongering has been going on since the industrial revolution. industries and jobs die and new ones are created.
they will likely hasbe to extend mandatory school beyond high school so all citizens have the technical skills necessary to work in the new fields.
and its coming to pass so its not fear mongering...its reality.

Even without automation in the equation we are ass out!

THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE THAN JOBS!!!

Do I need to post a graph for you to picture that?

If every person obtained a Doctorate, we would still need and relegate a Dr. to cleaning toilets. There simply aren't enough jobs paying a good wage.

Do you imagine the country beginning a massive, mandatory, training program to equip all the millions of people with the skills they need to work in a automated society? If they do...what new industry is on the horizon that will need 10s of millions of employees? And will pay a wage to where people can purchase a home, car, etc.

I work for the state employment agency in Florida.

This thread is about the supposed dangers of automation, not blacks living in a world of white supremacy.
Stay on subject.

There are always more people than jobs, especially when the world moved away from sustanance farming. This isn't new.

Post a picture.

A doctorate doesn't make a Dr. An md makes a Dr. That said supply and demand is economic law and yeah if there are more doctors than the demand you won't find high salaries, not neccessarily no jobs.

US government doesn't need to make a massive program, its up to the individual to try to develop marketable skills on their own, not actually successful people to foot the bill for those without proper forsight or who are just lazy.

Its not the job of the labor market ot get people to be able to buy a home or car, thats on the worker or the person, they have to develop marketable skills to demand a salary in which they can save and then purchase thingsthey want.

You working for a state employment agency in Florida isn't proof of any of the claims you made, again please actually post evidence of what you are claiming. this is the 3rd time I've asked you and you've refused to do so. I can only guess if you again ignore actually presenting evidence, you are just talking out of your ass.

Post a graph of whatever you want

This is just a small tidbit of total class warfare, reduction and automation of retail/service related jobs. As a kid, I knew those were dead-end jobs (as I saw older family working at jobs they hated and were still broke). I knew then, technology was the future and I began building, modding, programming computers in my teens. Much of the population doesn't share that type of drive, but the ones who do have undeniable skills and abilities to ensure they won't go hungry....ever.

I am in the tech field and look to make myself ingrained in the operations of any team I work with and update my skills as much as I can. However, I had to deal with and still deal with racism and cacs in the tech industry. So my next step is growing my Crytpo Currency portfolio and managing my other revenue streams.

The problem is COLA grew far beyond current wages and people are longing for the days of yesteryear where you could pay for college by working at McDonalds part-time. Perhaps have a house, car, couple of kids, and a summer vacation house from working at the car plant. Or more recently, get a no-money down mortgage when you only work at Wawa. That time is over and never coming back to the US.

The Endgame is indentured servitude via student loans which will be a form of population control. The Elites push the notion Blue Collar work is uncouth and White Collar (ie Joe College), is prestigious. Millions of students aren't financially saavy to understand the lifelong consequences of student debt, get a Liberal Arts degree, and end up working at Starbucks.Students then realize they are unable to pay the 70k or more in loans, they move back in with their parents, hold off on starting families and other adult milestones, and an entire American generation will end up like modern Japan with its low-birth rate crisis.

Retail jobs are already being phased out, but one must ask, do you want to work for the Gap, Target, Wal-Mart, Chuck-E-Cheese, etc for 15 or more years of your life ? Focus, drive, and determination are what's needed to succeed now since the barrier to a comfortable lifestyle is now more competitive.

Within a capitalist system such as ours, you can't save everyone. Look at Macy's, Blockbuster, Kay-Bee Toy Store, Radio Shack, K-Mart, Sears, as dying or dead entities that refused to change in a global economy.

Self-driving cars on the road will be with us by 2020 so let's see how that turns out. RPA is all the rage now - it's a big area in IT consulting now.

RPA - "Doing more with less" (aka "Doing more with fewer people")

Goodbye data entry :wow:

U think the tech field might get overcrowded and outsourced?

I want to get in the tech field, but I'm horrible at math

:damn:

I need to find me niche!

:damn:

I need to find me niche!

Certain parts of tech have already been outsourced.

Alot of tech is heavy with saturation. But alot of people burn out too.

Find your niche and be good at it.

Help Desk jobs are popping up like crazy because people still need help dealing with office 07 exchange servers :mjlol:

Those jobs are usually outsourced, but I've ran into a few recruiters who have told me that companies are pulling away.

Dudes barely speak english and are generally rude to their employees :yeshrug:.

Always start with help desk unless you already have skills. I got in with just the A+ Comptia cert. No math :wow:

But I'm eyeing those boot camps heavier now. Gonna to try out these Udemy courses about Python before I take the plunge.

How long would u recommend to stay in help desk ? And what would be the next step after that?

I have no idea what my niche would be.
