He used to put the same UPC code on all of the No Limit compilations and certain cats solo albums

@shopthatwrecks explained it a couple years back
how p came up...he cut out middle men n he looked up2 some of the biggest ceos in the country n in the south...n he was best friends with james prince..

he learned how to hustle in the bay...and in texas..

p used alot of texas based companies be4 goin to priority ...southwest wholesale who had a deal with warehouse music n other accounts...n he had pen n pixel..who could do covers for cheap..

both are companies that helped cut cost n made labels like sick wid it..rap-a-lot and suavehouse

p was doin the bar code hustle that cats like lil flip, yungstar pokey, lil troy n others down here mastered..

which was take ya album...put the same upc on ya compilations mixtapes etc...n when mom n pops n major retailers scan em...ya mixtape would count as a album sale...

if u got all of no limit albums all u gotta do is look at the back of em...u see garbage nikkas like prime suspects, the ghetto commission skull dugrey kane n abel..all got the same upc's as some of the compilations...if them nikkas can go gold n platinum..why they cant do it now...n why gone off the face of the earth...

p was droppin shyt every 2 weeks..and all of it was goin gold or platinum...p wasnt that rich to drop half a mill every 2 weeks...he had even got that deal with priority yet..only reason p made the switch from southwest to priority because he got a tip they was goin bankrupt
Couldn't quote the post correctly but there ya go

From hustling bar codes to SoundCloud plays :wow:

Oh, y'all thought them regional No Limit acts was all really going Gold and Plat :mjpls:
He only really did it with compilations and some lower tier artists though. But P a genius and he wasn't the only one doing it either

A lot of people ate off that in the Southern rap scene of the 90's and early 2000's:pachaha:

All the main No Limit artists (P, Silkk, Mystikal, Mia X, C-Murder, Snoop,TRU etc) all went gold/platinum legitimately UPCs or not

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Them nikkas have finesse stop leading people down a potentially career ending path.
like i said... IF YOU ARE AN ARTIST

it's much better than spending $400 to get on a coast 2 coast dj showcase... being 1 of 36 artists that night to win absolutely nothing and get nowhere cause everyone in the industry knows it's all bought and paid for

it's better than paying $2500 to open up for lil wayne and every artist that comes to your town... knowing you performing at 8pm, in front of nikkas who already know you, and don't give two fukks about you, cause they really came to see the other famous guy

there's a long list of indy artists who paid their way into the game... like 95% of them... nobody gets signed or famous or on, based off good talent and street hustle... that shyt is OVER

you better invest your money in a good PR firm... which can be hundreds a month... or start throwing your own shows... which can cost you thousands you probably won't make back....

OR... you can start paying these little sites to boost your shyt up... and flip that into unknowing club owners and djs.... to flip that into a few shows and spins... and flip flip flip

if you ain't got no finesse.... you might as well give it up now..... you done in this game

So instead of making good music which reaches people organically, P has to resort to desperate and embarassing measures

Nothing new, he's been doing that since at least the late 90s
no music reaches people organically.... you couldn't name one artist who got it out organically

from chance to whoever else you thinking about.... money and pull is behind EVERY success

I'm saying that most of you people rappin need to find some better shyt to do or start to go outside more. And that's not mean girls logic it's the truth nerd nikkas have no idea how to be "cool" for lack of a better term. Ever seen a nerd nikka with all the latest gear after Christmas in high but the shyt just look odd, why cause he just don't have that "swag" for lack of a better term. It's like a nikka from Africa tryin to make American rap song it's just not gon sound right because he's not apart of that tribe.
