Fukk y'all haters, there are plenty and plenty of No Limit albums that have aged fine and got lots of replay value, you just need to dig a bit deeper than only the Millers and Snoop

Both Mac, both Soulja Slim and both Fiend albums are great, Unpredictable by Mystikal, first 2 Mia X albums, first 2 Soundtracks, Down South Hustlers, first two Westcoast Badd Boyz, first two Kane&Abel joints, Young Bleed, Mr. Serv-On's debut...
You're not gonna convince people who are conditioned to believe only east coast albums are worthy of praise breh :mjcry:

I tried bumping that album a while ago and I just couldn't:hubie:. Dude caught the Pac holy ghost and ran left field with this album. There were a few dope tracks though, but yeah:beli:...

Dude tried to ride the annoying ass "I'm retired...SIKE!" wave that was going on during the time to sell records.

I think only Too Short had piled that stunt before P. I cant think of anyone else off top ajyway

I tried preaching this in a previous No Limit thread and only the real recognize that No Limit was more than just a Pen and Pixel meme:snoop:. Mystikal's Unpredictable album alone can convert the doubters in believing in the essence that was No Limit:ohlawd:.

Yeah THE Last Don was pretty much the end of No Limit's reign

I think Silkk had a solid album after that and Snoop but that was it

Yep remember this was hyped as P's "retirement album" and it didn't live up to that at all. Add in Juvenile & CMR coming on the nationwide scene 4 months later and you effectively have the end of No Limit's reign. This wasn't a wack album as much as it just felt cookie-cutter and average as all get out. People had gotten numb & burnt out to a new No Limit album each week.

And like somebody said, P's biting and rehashing was downright shameless on here. He even bit the "red dot" skit that was the end of Biggie's "Warning."

I don't know about any body else, but that album made me a fan. I liked some of the singles I was hearing from "Bout It, Bout It II" to "I Always Feel Like" to "No Limit Soldiers", but hearing "Ghetto Child" is what did it for me. That song and "Keep Your Eyes On My Enemies" is what did it for me. To me, the album cuts were No Limit's bread and butter. Some of the singles really did some of the albums a disservice.

Oh trust, I got the album for my birthday with the moving cross hand. For its time, the album blew my mind since I was such a No Limit stan. However, my feelings started changing for the album and even the direction of No Limit once I heard Ice Cream Man for the first time:lupe:. I was like, WHY they stopped making music like this and dumbed down their production? The blend of west coast influence with some southern gumbo made Ice Ceeam Man probably P's best album and one of my favorite No Limit albums. I hated the fact that BBTP changed their production from hard hitting to more mellow and semi-popish. Plus, P's Pac infatuation killed my love for Da Last Don. While it was a good album for it's time (some of the tracks still hold out to this very day), it still suffers from the 1998 disease. Dated production, dated themes, and so forth.
