he brought race into it.

I never said that no limit didn't have white fans either(altho, youre not helping your case, using that wigger couple as an example).

I just found it hilarious that he tried to classify no limit, of all labels, as "cac music", when in reality, they were the most unapologetically black regime to make it that far in the mainstream.
then he tried to prop up a white favorite group in the same breath.

Already addressed that with him.

No Limit, "of all labels", still had a huge white following. Being unapologetically Black doesn't run white people off, in fact a lot of them gravitate to that. Pac, unapologetically Black, has a huge white following. Kast, unapologetically Black, has a huge white following.

To sit there and post Kast is NOT unapologetically Black and then prop No Limit as unapologetically Black tells me two things:

1) You don't know what it means to be unapologetically Black

2) You have very skewed viewed of what it means to be unapologetically Black

Both No Limit and Kast made songs that detailed the Black experience. Even the name OutKast is unapologetically Black as is being a No Limit Soldier. And if you don't understand why, you're pretty much a CAC and that would explain a lot since you think Kast makes CAC music. You don't understand Black music anyway.

Exactly my point genius.. “people around u”

In the real world, they were getting laughed at and getting 0 play up north

This is a straight up lie. I lived in Baltimore, DC and Philly during their run and they were getting spins and play from EVERYWHERW during that time.

yep

and did an arena tour all thru the east coast.

and didn't need to team up with an east coast crew to do so. ***cough***CASH MONEY/RUFF RYDERS***cough***

wayne might of been trash but he wasn’t trash enough to fall off and stay off like p and them lmao. if he was so trash why didn’t they keep their momentum going post 2000?

wayne did indeed fall all the way off the map.
the reason why the original carter 1 was scrapped completely, then he came back with a ghostwritten album the following year, which was initially a slow burn because his name was dirt.
and if he wasn't birdman's boy-toy, he would've been faded away long before all of that.

with all that said, I think baby & slim had more of a long-term gameplan than master p.
no limit always had more talent than cash money, but they never really were in the business of building stars unless your last name was miller. then on top of that, by '99, master p has been basically treating no limit as a vehicle to keep his hundreds of other business ventures relevant as opposed to focusing in on the actual label. nor did they even attempt to put fresh faces at the forefront of the label. its still 50 year old master p & friends with master p pushing a product more than whatever album hes doing.. but they had the guys who were worthy of carrying the torch. some of them went on to light their own torch.

im not gonna sit up here and argue with you about your outkast.

think what you want. have fun. HEY YA.

its because they were the barrier-breakers.
the guys on the frontlines who opened up the doors for the south. so naturally, they had to take most of the bullets.

true pioneers in every sense of the word. or shoud I say TRU pioneers.

that's why I laugh when people toss the pioneer term around and try to refer to anyone who just lingered around as a pioneer.

whats funny is, on his reality show, P was running his new artists thru rehearsals and exercise drills.

and to his credit, he did it with them. but its funny how he didn't prepare for his own chit.

THIS

you can tell OP wasn't outside.

so basically, you aint know nobody.

you definitely wasn't around no girls.

ehh

i wouldn't call mystical a one-trick pony.

he can spit some of the fastest verses ever, then turn around and be on some james brown

SMH @ the bolded.

and cash money aint really do nothing. by the time they blew up, no limit had already peaked and was heading downward.

cash money didn't go head up with prime no limit, and they certainly would've never blew like they did if it wasn't for no limit.
not to mention, cash money were low-key pawns who received the heavy machinery push by the higher-ups in hopes of at neutralizing no limit.
and I was just as big of a cash money fan, but cmon now.

btw, no limit was still hot a good couple years after cash money blew.

and if there was another impactful label that came from down there circa '01, yall would be saying that they got cash money up outta here.

Fast rapping was cool when I was a teenager. Him doing his little james brown voice was part of the appeal.

Fiend got 2 rapping voices both of them dope, great lyricist, and good rapper, and dope hook dropper.

Mystikal isn't touching Fiend

since when did fast-rapping become a fad.

its cool if you think fiend is better. im just saying its crazy to claim that mystikal is one-dimensional. he excels in at least 3 different styles, while fiend just has 2 flows.

both are great tho.

and I think fiend is a guy who should be big behind-the-scenes to the point where he shouldn't even have to rap at this point anymore.

I'm gonna have to dub P as Half-Way P or China P as after his move from Richmond he's been sneaking in hype trains phoning shyt it in and copying and emulating songs, artists and even movie characters. The only thing orginal from him"Ughhh" and the "Bout it bout it" line. Mystikal was the shyt in No Limit.

theres not a white person in that entire arena.

funniest thing is, you dissed them while trying to prop up a white-favorite rap group.

if youre black, you gotta be some sort of urkle.
Negged fakkit. Since when is Outkast “white peoples favorite rap group”?:mjlol:

you fukking c00ns just talk just to talk. That would be Wu Tang Clan, by far. White people gravitated to ONE song by Andre. And that was Hey Ya. And that equates to Outkast, especially early Outkast, being “white peoples favorite group”?:what:

I see why your rep is what it is. You’re a fukking moron :camby:

No Limit did not sell more than Death Row or Roc A Fella dummy..

Face it, No Limit always been a joke
That’s why they been irrelevant for 15 years now

I see no Limit on the same level as Rap A Lot or Sic Wid It(40 waters label) they ain't nowhere near Row or Roc, probably No Limits biggest peak was in 1998-99.

I know 40 is a legend but I have never really heard much mention of his label but I know artist out there used to literally move more records by the trunk and make a killing.

I fukks with Rapalot hard but No Limits impact to me is what makes them one of the greatest rap labels/crews of all time.
