Ill never understand people hatin on no limit
its because they were the barrier-breakers.
the guys on the frontlines who opened up the doors for the south. so naturally, they had to take most of the bullets.
true pioneers in every sense of the word. or shoud I say TRU pioneers.
that's why I laugh when people toss the pioneer term around and try to refer to anyone who just lingered around as a pioneer.
My thoughts exactly. tThis ain't Puff running his team through rehearsal hours a day and staying up late to make the stage perfect.
P was probably driving his rolls and thought hey let's tour next week.
whats funny is, on his reality show, P was running his new artists thru rehearsals and exercise drills.
and to his credit, he did it with them. but its funny how he didn't prepare for his own chit.
lol everybody and they mama know No Limit wasnt regional , Camron just said on his new interview he came up wit the idea of Dipset cuz n!ggas used to sit on the street corners IN NEW YORK & argue all day who was they favorite No Limit Soldier outta Soulja Slim, Mia X, Mystikal etc.
coli be east coast bias like mfer smh
THIS
you can tell OP wasn't outside.
I don't care what nobody say, I have never met a legitimate Silkk the Shocker fan in my motherfukking life.
so basically, you aint know nobody.
you definitely wasn't around no girls.
Fiend the best artist though. Mystikal a one trick pony
ehh
i wouldn't call mystical a one-trick pony.
he can spit some of the fastest verses ever, then turn around and be on some james brown
Them nikkas was trash. all of them not named mystikal. they had a few hits and a few moments but overall that shyt was trash. them nikkas had MAYBE half of 97 and a quarter in 98. Everything after that was Cash Money copying trash. Don't rewrite history.
We laughed at every album cover at least. Don't confuse individual respect with overall respect lol. Cash Money came and got them the fukk outta there with Mannie fresh production
...even the south abandoned them nikkas when Birdman came through and gave them music to be proud of.
No one was fukking with No Limit after Guerilla Warfare dropped.
SMH @ the bolded.
and cash money aint really do nothing. by the time they blew up, no limit had already peaked and was heading downward.
cash money didn't go head up with prime no limit, and they certainly would've never blew like they did if it wasn't for no limit.
not to mention, cash money were low-key pawns who received the heavy machinery push by the higher-ups in hopes of at neutralizing no limit.
and I was just as big of a cash money fan, but cmon now.
btw, no limit was still hot a good couple years after cash money blew.
and if there was another impactful label that came from down there circa '01, yall would be saying that they got cash money up outta here.
