Two dudes in trench coats holding guns posted on a tank. The tank is the only implication of a soldier they had going, but in terms of them making "soulja" songs and rapping about being "souljas" didn't come until after P was out here making Pac tributes and such.
Early No Limit was more toward being a mob than soldiers, which is something they went back to in the late '90's, but more heavily emphasized (the suits, skits, songs, album titles, album covers, and accents).
Ya'll in here acting like it's far fetched that P incorporated being a soldier in his music because of Pac. Pac was Source material for a lot of the ideas Master incorporated into his music.
So he got the tank from PAC is what you are saying??
You do know P, folk. his dad or maybe grandpa was in the service.
Again in 97-98 not only was P saying soulja and reference that term in his music, other artists were doing it to, so I guess they got that from PAC too??
Other artists on NL label were hollering soulja also on their own albums in their own lyrics that they wrote on their own. Had nothing to do with PAC
You act like P was the other person screaming soulja this and soulja that on No Limit label
Soulja Slim, Magnolia Slim, changed his whole name to Soulja Slim and he was on No Limit, so again PAC has an influence on that huh?? Soulja Slim first video was an all out war scene. Mystical another No Limit artist was saying it, he even had a song called Born to be a soulja, so he got that from PAC to??
Again y'all know nothing about nothing and wasn't around in real time to know the real
Explain other artists on the label, No limit saying soulja this and soulja that?? And again these other artists are from New Orleans that is saying all this soulja stuff on their own albums.
Even Snoop started saying it when he came down here, it was the lingo he picked up on. Had nothing to do with PAC
The whole soulja aura was down here in full time mode already
