I remember when P came to Gary and hyped up some local rappers, the grind family, and ended up stealing a chorus. P aways been a leech.
Shout out to them G.I. Boyz.

When I first moved to Columbus, Ohio, some of the local told me how Gary nikkaz would put in work in Columbus

Master P = Goat legend hustler.....OG.....Some who I'll always respect as a real one and who ushered a movement with some incredible music I still listen to. Southern icon.

But P will bite ANYTHING if he think it'll sell.

I remember an interview outkast had in either vibe or xxl way back in the day, and the interviewer noted how there was a magazine on the table with P and lil romeo on it and this was when bow wow was famous. The interviewer said big boi saw the magazine cover, shook his head and said, "still bitin:smh:"

Heaven 4 a G?

================================================
Is there a heaven for a gangsta, gangsta, gangsta...? ugh!

We can do this all day, Master P defenders.

that entire song & video was dedicated to 2pac.

Richie rich did the same thing at the same exact time, btw. I never see him getting criticized tho.

…...and master p's version is way better than both. and that's usually what P would do - take a concept & make a completely different song and usually it would be a lot better than the predecessor. hate to break it to yall but you favorite rappers most likely do the same thing. they just mask it better. P is more shameless & upfront about it cuz hes not trying to make any top MC lists. but best believe this is done everyday by just about all rappers.

EDIT: now youre reaching for pen-n-pixel covers like the whole south wasn't on it.

Master P's biting was blatant, but it wasn't something I recall people being vocal about until AFTER No Limit fell off. You had people who brought up the biting, but it was people who didn't like No Limit anyway and needed a legit reason without looking like a hater. 1999 is when even fans or former fans were pointing it out.

Also, there's a difference between biting and being influenced by someone. P was clearly influenced by Scarface. He even had a song with Face. He did bite Pac a lot though. It wasn't just themes or concepts, it was the whole thug/soldier style.

uh, Richie Rich is from Oakland probably ran with Pac on the streets at some point, so a dedication song from him makes sense
....songs from Bay Area artists who fukked with Tupac , or his personal friends from other parts of the country (mourn you til i join you from Treach) are true dedications
P was just blatantly biting off Tupac. Pac-sploitation

my favorite artists are krs and scarface...krs said "we take the wackest songs and make them better" as he was was doing just that to "hey jude" by the Beatles. face is a known rock and roll fan......and you can hear the influence in his song content. those artists tended to lift influences from songs they heard as kids, not as grown men copying their rap peers.

OutKast bit somebody? Who?
That nikka hates Outkast and stans P. He been attacking them for over a decade. Pay him no mind.

The mental gymnastics P fans will do. I don't care if you respect his business sense. He was never a good artist.

Another person he bit was Rick Ross years later. 0 artistic integrity.

cosign except the last part.

P got the soldier chit from bone/mo thugs & mystikal.

pac wasn't on that tip.

whats funny is, you call out master p, but yall keep the opposite energy for yukmouth, who come to find out, didn't even know pac like that. dude basically used pac's name as sympathy-bait to fuel his grudge against master p. but NOBODY ever mentions that chit on here. instead, yukmouth is the main name that comes up in these threads in a positive light.

meanwhile, master p to this day, credits that lil 2pac tour as his breakthrough that helped his career gain traction. also, P was the only rapper that really kept pac's legacy going when the industry was constantly trying to downplay pac & throw dirt on his name.

now did P go overboard with the pac stuff?? sure, but lets also not act like any of those songs were vital to no limit's come-up.

and like I said before, grown rappers copy off of their rapping peers EVERYDAY. you can waster your time being in denial about it. its all on you.

you calling me a liar?
and are you gonna ignore all the people that backed up my statement?
f*ck off my d*ck wit that chitty chit.

I don't attack outkast, nor do I stan master p or any other man.
im just a fellow who tells it like it is, so things such as fake chit and revisionist history are pet peeves of mine. with that said, of course a group like outkast who have a high amount of overzealous fans on this forum, will end up in the scope often. its nothing personal tho.

how is P not a good artist when he put out tons of classic music?
people aren't gonna buy your albums in droves because they like your business acumen. that's just silly.

by that same logic, you can say that rick ross "bit" master p as well. keep that same energy.

I don't think P cares about "artistic integrity". he never claimed to be an emcee. hes an entertainer and more of a fan than anything. 95% of the artists he took from, he did business with, or at the very least shouted them out at some point. the only ones who felt some type of way were the ones who wished they had his spot.

Straw man argument. To deflect from multiple examples of P biting Tupac

meanwhile, master p to this day, credits that lil 2pac tour as his breakthrough that helped his career gain traction. also, P was the only rapper that really kept pac's legacy going when the industry was constantly trying to downplay pac & throw dirt on his name.

false. After the success of the album released after his death, Don Kiluminatti....there was a steady stream of Pac material released in stores, and bootlegs and it sold well. He still appeared on magazine covers for years to come, and several soundalike clones emerged.
Try again with "industry downplayed Pac after he died"

now did P go overboard with the pac stuff?? sure, but lets also not act like any of those songs were vital to no limit's come-up.

Again false. P might have big down South, but the VERY first exposure he got in NYC was the song on the soundtrack to The Show, which was the "Is There A Heaven for a Gangster" record. First video of his that got ANY airplay up here. So yes, biting Pac was vital to him expanding his reach outside of the South.,,,and breaking as a national act.

and like I said before, grown rappers copy off of their rapping peers EVERYDAY. you can waster your time being in denial about it. its all on you.

tHIS thread title is about P biting Face, yet people posted several other people that he's copied. Serial biter, clone, copycat and shameless about it. Your rebuttal is

"a yo, dudes copy others every day, B."?
