Can't get my vote in but it would have been for Romero.

I think even if I did see more of his work I’d give the nod to Romero anyway though. Night of the Living Dead (the remake) has had a soft spot to me since I was a kid, and the themes and ideas behind his films are so strong that they’re still being explored today.
