That shyt been driving a wedge in the youth :wow:

Inner city Philly schools..you was getting roasted in class if ya gear wasn't up to par:wow:

I can't believe LeBron and Jordans are $200. I took my nephew shopping and that's all he wanted :wow:

All most all of hip hop, a black genre and culture, does is brag about cars, jewelry, clothes and money :wow:

Black people feel in order to say we made it, we must have the same thing white people have... the overpriced homes, the overpriced clothes, cars, fashion,etc...

Did u know we have over 1.1 trillion dollars in purchasing power however only 2% goes into black businesses....we continue to lose even if we think we have the updated shyt..

excessive materialism has always been an issue amongst black youths. It has only been exacerbated by rap music. I remember growing up and seeing countless of my peers literally obsess over their Jordans and other trends. This was the pinnacle of most of their conversations. Who had the latest this and that, all the while they're getting D's and F's in Math and Science.

Thankfully my kids go to a school where kids are wearing skechers, fila, and target clothes. They aren't focused on being fresh with polo or having the newest j's.
That's wassup.

In 8th grade, I used to spend 100 on girbaub, azzure, lrg, enyce, akademiks

My mom hot it but I know it caused her to struggle

I wear some target shyt, some of navy, gap but I've been going ham at Polo cause I got the outlets near me now :ahh:

The quality is better I can't lie
