And although we've had some Heisman winning quarterbacks in the past 13 years, our History hasn't exactly provided Great NFL quarterbacks. USC has a hall of game player at every position outside of quarterback and maybe some kicking positions.

Doesn't stop us from QB university atleast for now. Once Barkley starts we'll still more than likely have 3 starting QB's in the league. More than other university

Let Pryor continue to develop for one more season and let Flynn play this season unless Pryor performs better than him.

Carson had to go because he was making too much money. Look at it this way... The Raiders traded away an expensive QB for a QB making less money. Carson was not going to be okay with being a backup QB in Oakland. They traded to late picks for Flynn and I'm sure one of the picks is tied to how many games Flynn plays or the Raiders win. They will most likely get a pick from Arizona.

As a Raider fan i like it. Should be competitive at the QB position and i think they will push each other. Ppl ova here so caught up on Terrel Pryor but i dont even know if he's even the answer. If Pryor is legit than he should raise his level of play even more. I dont know why people think franchise quarterbacks are so easy to find and the Raiders are making such a bad move.

Pryor gets a chance to compete for the job now. And if he cant beat out Flynn then that should say something about his chance to succeed in the NFL. But who knows, for all i know Matt Flynn may come in Oakland next year and ball out. Though i thought the same thing last year and he lost the job to Russell, but in hindsight that's just cuz Wilson is gonna be a great one. So no shame in that.

Yea when i watched the Seahawks pre-season games last year he didnt do anything to really lose his job. He played ok. Russel was just more dynamic of a player and gaining momentum every game. Pete couldn't stop the momentum so he gave russel the job. Rusell Wilson was the more attractive option and as of right now looks to be the better QB...but the jury is still out on Flynn.

reports stated that raiders asked bum-er to take a $3MM paycut to bring his cap number down to 10million... rumor is he is restructuring and taking a $5MM paycut to be with ARZ... fukk him. he was obviously married to the Hue Jackson relationship, they are both morons in my opinion.

it's also been reported that he came into last season with a tired arm (similar to mlb pitchers) and that he overdid it in the offseason. hopefully that's true and he shows some zip on the ball. anybody who saw the charger game where pryor started saw that all his passes were mainly lobs or floaters. flynn doesn't have a cannon like pryor, but he can throw the short/intermediate passes with better zip and lead his receivers

i think the qb's should have a level of success in order for a school to claim that title... rather than just quantity
