Love was not the problem. He threw for 4 TD's and had the kicker made the extra point or field goal they likely win. I don't know how you look his direction after the game. You wanted him to cover DJ Moore too? He's definitely capable of winning a ring. Unless you have a trade package for Patrick Mahomes you're going to have to accept that all these QB's come with flaws.
GB's Super Bowl chances were pretty much done when Micah went down. Their defense just isn't good enough. If Tucker Kraft wasn't injured maybe the offense would've been so unstoppable they could overcome that but we'll never know.
MLF is the problem. Bears made adjustments. He didn't until it was too late. Get rid of him and if the Steelers lose and Tomlin is let go hire him. If not there's other coaches available who will still be an upgrade.
You missed the part where I said my Love assessment wasn't a one game assessment.
I absolutely think you can win a Super Bowl with Love. I also think he has way too many bad games than you'd like from a guy you're paying superstar money, and its clear LaFleur doesn't have complete trust in him.
Maybe LaFleur the one who doesn't think he can win a Lombardi with Love. Love's inconsistencies absolutely limit your ceiling, if what you need is perfection (Kraft healthy, Micah healthy, '24 Jacobs instead of '25 Jacobs, etc) available to him, to win it all.
I saw Rodgers drag an imperfect roster to the NFC Championship in 2016. And I'm not a Rodgers fan at all, but does Love make people around him better? Is he an elevator of talent, or is he only as good as the talent around him?
Again, my Love assessment isn't about this one game. He was really good tonight, although that recklessness showed up a couple times where he could've turned it over but didn't. But no, he's not the chief reason they lost this game.
He may be a chief reason they never win a title, though.
LaFleur doesn't trust the game in his quarterback's hands. That may be justified, but he's gotta do a better job of holding leads and keeping foot on gas.
