In 4 seasons, Matt Ryan has a winning percentage of .662, he's been a Pro Bowl QB (2010), never had a losing season & been to the playoffs 3 times. He's been good...noone will mistake him for elite in ATL & the OP is delusional if he thinks REAL Falcons fans will do otherwise

say breh how many playoff wins does he have?

 With the cast he has had around him he had no excuse but to be successful I mean didnt that RB carry the team on his back until he got fat last year?

Falcons had 4 wins the year before Ryan showed up.

Michael Turner is good but that nikka aint responsible for 7 extra wins a year.

And to the people talking about the playoff losses, lets look at who we lost to. 2 eventual Super Bowl champs, and another who should have won it.

Exactly. Stafford numbers while great are because of Megatron. I'm still amazed Stafford put up what he did given that most of his games he always had slow ass starts and would never get going until the second half.

Ryan is much closer to "elite" status than Stafford is. I like that new coordinator the Falcons have it looks like they are going to air it out with Matty Ice and take way more chances downfield, they definitely have the receivers to do it.

We stopped running the ball and Stafford was in shotgun all the damn time.

football is a team game, not two, or one player game.

people bringing up winning percentage and shyt...that falcons team was a mess, vick gone, you had joey harrington starting :beli: old ass dunn and roddy was just emerging. falcons had 29th ranked defense, worst since 03. hue jackson was also their ocoordinator :lolbron:

so much changed the next year as the falcons rebuilt but yea go ahead and attribute all that to matt ryan :beli: :pacspit:

this is why the qb love makes me sick, people want to attribute a team change to one fukking guy. same story with drew brees (who is much better than ryan tho, but still)
people dont want to look at defenses, olines, staff changes and rebuilding processes besides the QB.

that 2008 falcons team also had different starting WR2, TE, RB, LT, RG
as well as WR1 entering his 4th year after a breakout campaign, LG coming off a rookie season, and RG who was a RG two years ago.

also, new coach and a new offensive coordinator as well as dcoord. and no more dfall :lolbron:

but go ahead and attribute it to one QB, just like the media wants you to believe.

He won me my fantasy football league last season though. Definitely someone who's better in fantasy sports than in the real games.

It aint just the QB but cats talking about him like his supporting cast was all star level. He contributed to those wins just as much as everyone else. And if we cant give him a good bit of the praise for those winning seasons why are yall so quick to give him all that blame for the playoff losses?

Dont even start with New Orleans. Aaron Brooks alone held that team back. That was painfully obvious to anyone with 2 eyes. As soon as they got Drew Brees i knew they would be a problem.
