Stuff like that being covered when it’s for official business is just standard operating procedure at serious companies. Not once have I ever had to pay for travel expenses (food, transportation, hotels) for any business trip. And if I would have had to for whatever reason then I would have got reimbursed for it.

fukking Panera Bread even covered travel expenses when I had to go out of town for a class to be a trainer when I worked there in college.

...but are you in the wrestling business though?

I don't know if WWE has changed policies (haven't bothered to ask), but back in the day the talent had to pay for their own travel and lodging (hence Maven's reaction in that video).

Had no idea that guys like Scotty 2 Hotty and Josh Matthews were working backstage in AEW. Dope
AEW snatched up Matthews when TNA released him. Scotty 2 shytty has even done some dark/Dark matches

:pachaha:Maven probably can do it
I bet he could bring some value as a coach/producer since apparently he gets asked a lot about match advice. Or something with media given the quality and success of his YouTube.

People are going to overlook how professional, and probably chill, the backstage is. Maven detailed a lot of stuff that happened in a company he was never a part of, all because he experienced it in a different company decades ago. Add to the fact wrestlers don’t need to pay for hotel rooms and have a feast in catering. Goes to show how much AEW is evolving as a company. :ehh:

If WWE keeps up their BS, you could see AEW become #1 in about 5 years.

You’re gonna trigger some stooges with this comment. :heh:

Not gonna predict the future, and honestly it’s not worth it in the timeline we’re in. I’m just enjoying the ride and trying to appreciate what we have now. As a long time wrestling fan who has seen a lot, I’m really thankful for AEW’s existence.

Idk why people get tribal over feds. Competition is good and the best era of wrestling was the Monday night wars. So I'm hoping AEW stays on the path they are on.
