I read about his response before I listened to Kellermans words and he basically said nothing disrespectful.

It's kinda obvious that SAS doesn't want another non-athlete challenging him all the time. The level of non-athletes he fukks with is mad dog who really only knows baseball and basketball from the 60s. And that he wanted it to be SAS show with athletes contributing.

With athletes he always says "you played the game so I won't...". But with another journalist, with not seldom dumb hot-takes, half of the time you'll be looking like a fool.

Other than that, I mean Kellerman is a lower budget SAS type. I don't know how much more room there is for such guys in the new era

The second part of what he said is probably closer to the truth. If it's a "team" show, SAS can't demand as much from ESPN, and he was setting up for that big contract that he just got. If he's viewed more as the solo act, as in it's SAS and First Take, instead of Skip and Stephen A., or Max and Stephen A., he's gonna get more money.

Its really that simple. SAS behavior since confirms it. Max got outplayed . fukk both of them though.
