I'm hearing nothing but good things. But does this game have a sentimental connection or feeling to the 1st 2 Payne games? Did they completely abandon the feel of the original games in order to make the game more modern?
Max Payne was the 1st game I played as an adult that got me back into gaming again. Game has a special place in my heart. I'd be in heaven if they ever made a HD Remix for the originals.

I was. But I didn't get Max Payne 1 until like 2003 on the PC. Game had to be $9.99 at the most. Played that shyt allnight and beat it day 1. My wife was pissed, she don't get mad about games anymore though.
Got Max Payne 2 shortly after. Never played a Payne game on a console, shyt gonna be weird.

Heard only the PC versions were good for the 1st 2 games. Always heard the console versions were trash. PC versions are still piff & the graphics are still nice as hell.

If i never played MP 1 & 2 and just popped this in, I wouldn't know too much about them but they do it in a good way. Granted i'm only on chapter 3, but they don't touch too much on the past

Yeah it took me minute to get a feel for the game I was getting owned but I need to know how to do a couple moves. How was you staying with that bullet time? And How nikkaz be running and diving on the floor and stay shooting it doesn't look like bullet time though
I'll help you out. Change your control setting scheme to type 4. That makes it easier imo. L3 to sprint. R3 for burst. When you spawn, at the bottom right of the screen when it say "level 1 ________" whatever burst you have equipped press R3 to use it. They're sort of like little medal kickbacks so to speak. Oh and put "aiming acceleration" to 10. That makes it so the speed when aiming doesn't start off slow and gets fast as you move the analog. It basically makes the aiming similar to Uncharted 3.
That white vertical bar that fill up from kills and sh1t lets you do that slow mo dive. It's done by pressing R2 and whatever direction. Press it again to stop it. If the meter doesn't have nothing then it'll dive but not be in slow-mo.
When you notice the screen is in slow-mo and you ain't press nothing that means someone else is doing it in your sight of view.
Mess with the "Arsenal" screen and fukk with the loadouts to see what they do. You'll get a feel for it the more you play.
