Please explain to me why this guy didn’t blow up? I like the first three songs and never got passed them for som reason. The album is sounding good to me today for some reason.

Not so good promo. Voice also not really mainstream. Honestly, his 2015 tape should have been the sound he continued. He got more notoriety with the soundcloud era because of that tape. It fits the vibe, while maintaining bars. His fanbase isn't the streets. It's white kids from the burbs and those white kids who love shyt like Playboi Carti. If he had a solid team around him, they coulda helped him work on that music and he could have been bigger. He's been grinding for a minute.

I’m going to go listen to that other tape. I enjoyed the mainstream album way more than I expected. I guess I do like it cause he don’t really sound like anybody else right now. Hope dude keeps putting stuff out
