How long had starkiller been trained by vader before he could pull a star destroyer into orbit? 15 to 20 years. Reys tackling the knights of ren after a year. Anime protagonists go through longer training arcs
:unimpressed:

It's made up magic ninjas stop with this training nonsense

I agree with the premise of this thread, trek was always about a future where humanity gets over itself and starts working together to explore the stars. :wow:

I'm a big sci-fi fan, warhammer 40k is my jam but I understand its too grimdark and violent for most and that's okay. The biggest influence in that series is 'The Warp' which Star Trek and Star Wars doesn't detail but in 40k its in am immaterial universe where the 4 chaos gods and their host reside that you must travel through to go from a to b. ( They are constantly working and do cross into the material )

The closest thing most would have seen to understand the warp is the movie 'Event Horizon' which many fans consider 40k based but far earlier in time.

Its a nightmare region.

Following the vast 40k library, my next favorite is Dune.

In terms of commercial sci-fi TV shows, BattleStar Galactica has been the series I have most rewatched. Its just really well done and more adult than trek or star wars. That opening credit :wow:

Still, Trek is far superior to SW and will always be great in terms of storyline and themes.

I enjoy making fun of star wars fans
Like a vulcan I point out the illogical points in your franchise

if you point out the illogical, then you should agree with me

Star Trek fans see a woman, breh, android, Klingon, Borg in a leadership position and it isn't a big deal.

Star Wars fans see one breh as a Jedi and they turn into Nazis....

For that alone, the nod goes to Trek...
2 things. in universe borg leadership made it on sight between sisko and picard. i dont see why viewers would care about the others

and star trek fans have done a lot of terrible things(like bully a kid out of acting) but ive never heard of any problems with mace

You as a person in real life must be awful. Being a cat man is one thing but also saying Star Trek is superior to Star Wars. I shiver. A literal shake, yes, at the thought of the contrarian, more likely than not, overweight, fakkit you are IRL. :scust:?
