if this guy supposedly cares about the middle class so much, what is Mamdani's plan to bring down property taxes, which get passed directly along to renters? or does that not qualify as a problem to him?

Property taxes are high in nyc because the value of the properties are high, outside of housing expansion which is what he wants to do, not many other courses of actions you can take in NYC. Nyc has 1 million students in public school, that is costly you can't just bring down taxes without serious repercussions somewhere, either their or police/fire. Nys has a different tax structure than other states, you should stick to Henderson Nevada where you can provide us some expertise

You can’t seriously be advocating for cutting spending while simultaneously propping up Gavin Newsom, can you? I genuinely cannot understand the logic behind supporting him maybe it's his looks? Are we talking about the governor who has funneled billions into corporate pockets under the guise of addressing homelessness? Or the same Newsom who has overseen massive waste in funding high-speed rail projects, effectively enabling corporations to siphon public money with little accountability? The contradiction is glaring: on one hand, there’s talk of fiscal responsibility, yet on the other, there’s support for a leader whose track record shows billions squandered on initiatives that enrich private interests while leaving the public with broken promises.
