Thierry Henry is my favorite soccer player ever but I think Mbappé is going to be better.

Sorry but Henry showed a shyt load more skillsets that just needed a lil time by 19. His grace and footwork is way ahead of mbappe at the same time. Mbappe just has speed over him right now. Yall are too caught in the moment

Henry was my favorite player in soccer around 2005-06. He's incredibly underrated IMO because he played during such a tough era with the likes of the OG Ronaldo, Zidane, and Ronaldinho hogging all the Best Player in the World titles. But he was right there with them.

With that said, I think Mbappe has the potential to be better.

Thierry Henry didn't really become Thierry Henry until Wenger took him from the wing and put him in a striker role. And he was like 23 at the point or some shyt? If you compare them both at 19 Mbappe is definitely better.

As has been said, Mbappe is better at 19, but probably won't be as good as prime Henry. Mbappe has elite speed and finishing, but needs to develop in other areas.

Really can’t lose. Mbappe looks the better player but I prefer Henry’s all around game.

Nah. I was a soccer head from the mid-2000s to 2012. I stopped following club soccer after Drogba won the champions league in 2012. Mainly cause all my favorite players that I followed had either retired or were over the hill (i.e. Drogba, Henry, Eto, Ronaldinho, etc.).

I follow great players. And since 2012 there ain't been a great player in soccer worth following. Now with Mbappe's emergence I'll start watching club soccer regularly once again.
