It's a damn good album but imo not a classic. Solid 4/5 and would be a 4.5 if it didn't sound like it was mixed by a bootleg engineer from soundcloud . Even mike dean was pissed how it came out
That song with cudi still pissed me off because of the mixing. Song s amazing and it is just way under mixed. I get the distortion and whatnot but it was done horribly

I din't actively start listening to music until years after this came out and didn't know about Pitchfork or really use music forums until after I heard it

Some people can't process music that isn't solely soul samples and remotely different.Saying MBDTF isn't a classic is like saying Planet Earth was filmed poorly
