Illmatic is widely acclaimed as one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time by people other than click bait generating contrarian Complex mag CACs and c0uns like Ernest Baker

U young nikkas want this decade to be legit so bad but its been hip hop's weakest album by far. The fact that an overproduced, self-indulgent zero replay MESS like MBDTF is highly regarded for this time says it all

Trashmatic is claimed to be the goat album by fukk nikkaz who are stuck in the 90s and think everything was better back then, ole stuck in the past ass nikkaz, there was alot of better albums than trashmatic in the 00s

No way, I listen to way more stuff from the 00s than the 90s. But until Yeezus MBDTF was Yeazle's worst album by far, so yea while there are some albums better than Illmatic from the 00s MBDTF damn sure isnt one of them

I probably could too, at least on a personal level, but that doesnt change the fact that MBDTF is not better than Illmatic and is Ye's 2nd worst album. Maybe worst overall TBH.

Yes, Koonye is a Chitown nikka wit a naS flow... only thing about it is no one really compliments Koonye's flow... its because he has a weak ass naS flow. If he had a Twista flow, or Jigga flow, etc nikkaz would be like but he has a naS flow so nikkaz be like

As for the thread, I'm not a big fan of MBDTF, but its still lightyears ahead of trashmatic, from lyrics to production, to concepts. And unlike naS, you can actually see where Koonye has influenced the genre. After Ye came out with CD shyt actually changed. Then when he came out with 808's shyt changed again. Aint no one make a shytty ass Trashmatic album after it came out, instead naS changed his shyt up to copy what other nikkaz was doin. Duke is a follower, not a leader. Not to mention Conway murdered naS on his own shyt, and murdered him on Ye's shyt too.
