He seems more concerned with defending cocaine usage.

Word. Shan was like "If he wants to get high than so what?"

To quote verbatim
"And so what if he was getting high?" - Mc Shan

I mean hey, whatever floats your boat.

I like seeing legends alive tho like Jay Z, Em and Ice T.

Shan is cool but wild.

This video can easily make coke heads sniff. Seeing an old dude alive saying whatever about it.

But who knows how Shan's life as a whole is.

shyt is scary and I'm not with it.

But peace to Shan.

And I get coke isn't as bad as media portrays. I've known successful people who sniffed for over 10 years. They look successful at least - but I've seen it devastate at least 5 lives. In terms of giving up dreams so it's all work and all coke life, all coke lose career life, or completely wreck brain life. All in a short time too. 3 years or so.

Rap legend MC Shan with his take on what did (or didn’t) happen to DMX. Didn’t remember seeing this already posted on here.

Admittedly I was surprised about how he was looking in this clip, but I won’t speak disrespectfully of the Brother in light of us losing X and Rob.

MC Shan speaks nothing but truth and he makes a fair point here

I love Shan, he a wild dude. But he is wrong. I worked in the drug sector for years. Life long addicts can still overdose. And recovered addicts overdose frequently too.

the thing about an overdose is that it isn’t necessarily cause by just having too much of one drug which is what people think. It is most often caused by a mix or even the half life of another drug still in your system. For example, you might have a few drinks but not enough to really fukk you up, you might smoke crack but not a lethal amount, however the combination of the effects of the alcohol and the effects of the crack together becomes too much for your body and it begins to shut down or your heart gives out. The same thing with a half life, if your body is still got the shyt in it, you might not feel it but it’s in there, then you use again, that’s what put you over the limit.

the shyt Shan is saying is just addict talk. He basically saying you can’t overdose. Everybody think they got it perfected until they don’t.

Appreciate the insight Breh. Aside from the knowledge about how heavy drug and alcohol usage can batter the body long term, majority of us hear “overdose” and automatically think of a bunch of shyt being done simultaneously at that given time
