That just said he attempted and made the most 3s in history. He wasn't even first in 3pt%. He was given a system and a green light to shoot 3s like no other player before him. And to his credit he knocked them down at an amazing rate. But you can't use those broken records to prove he was far and away the best player in the league "in every aspect"

Scoring is only one aspect of the game. And the next leading scorer behind him James harden was only 1 point behind. I wouldn't say that's a large gap. And in every other aspect of the game he had plenty of competition.

All these highlight reels and broken 3pt records got Yall overstating his accomplishments this year. And he doesn't even need it, as he had an amazing MVP worthy season without the hype.

Even If you adjust for 4th qtr blowouts the Warriors got out scored with Curry off court. Run the numbers and Curry was worth about 30 wins himself, which is absurd.

None of that explains how you figured out that the gap between Curry and the next is bigger than at any other point in history.

Arguing that he's the first player to deserve a unanimous MVP is just as dumb as what T-mac is saying.

Adjust plus/minus with Curry off the court and the Warriors were out scored over the course of the year and that even is adjusted for blowouts in the 4th qtr. The Warriors are about a 43 win team without Steph.

A more diverse scorer. Can score in more ways than Durant

Based off of what? Durant is a better mid-range scorer, three point shooter, slasher, and finisher around the rim with more range.

Pierce is maybe a little better in triple threat position on the high or low block but Durant is still ten times the overall scorer that Pierce is.

Or would you argue that Melo is a better offensive player than Curry because he can bully dudes in the post?

There are way more bad teams in the league today than have ever been

I would give the MVP to LeBron because they're a way different team without him

The Warriors are still dominant without Curry but whatever

TMAC was right there league is watered down because there are too many teams

Get rid of 3-4 teams and you'll have more stars per team

Peyton Manning got and still gets TONS of hate.

There really is no current player in ANY sport that we can compare Curry too as far as perfect image and being hater proof.

Steph is teflon at this point.

Based off of what? I'm looking at the SF position and have seen the history of Durant being forced to take shots from longer and longer range when forced out the paint. Melo and Pierce never has the problem playing bully ball and changing their game.

Bringing up a PG who no one asks to score in such a manner makes no sense.

My point still stands. Deconstruct it....

Paul Pierce is a hell of a lot more trustworthy than Durant has been. Much higher basketball IQ. Pierce put up 26 points a game in the regular season. Who cares. Gives me the guy who won Finals MVP. Give me the guy who didn't melt against LeBron and Kobe. Give me the guy who upped his game.

:stopitslime: if KD decide's to take his talents to the Bay Area you know you're gonna welcome him like so :blessed:

:mjpls: Not to mention it's easy to score on a two man offense which is basically what OKC is right now.

No it's not. Iso ball with pick and rolls at the top is the easiest offense to prepare for a defense which makes hit harder on the offensive guys who play like this (Iverson, Harden, Westbrook) the only reason KD thrives playing like this is becuz of his silky smooth jumpshot.

Teams that move the ball and have player movement have the easiest time scoring (GSW, SA, college teams with no star) which is why their coaches implement that style of offense.
