I don't know if it's been explained to you before but its called mma not boxing. Fighters in mma aren't just worried about a different combination of punches and movement...they got to worry about different combinations of kicks, knees, elbows, grappling i.e wrestling, judo and Brazilian jiu jitsu...so they're instincts aren't only boxing based which is what your eyes is looking out for

He's hype breh, not a Rousey type hype up but he's mostly making his name on antics and post fight comments. Although he's more of a striker than wrestler, he has problems defending takedowns and getting back on his feet, his 2 losses where both by submission. But he's fought better ground and pounders since his 2nd loss and has demolished them so I think he's more legit than what Ronda was built to be but he has notable flaws.

Got some brutal KOs too tho.

Lol breh what am I mad about, its not a secret that having experience in pure boxing will benefitt you in striking exchanges in mma..but you can say that for every style.

I just tried to google him and found nothing of him on a history of boxing.

I think they current UFC dudes maybe... but not true MMA cats like some of the old cats in older feds.

As much as boxing fans love to think that Boxers could just come into MMA and wipe the mat with everyone.... I seriously doubt they couldve hung in a fed like Pride.

With that said... a smart fighter thats say not as strong with his hangs but excellent with kicking and grappling aint gonna let a boxer box him. He'd kick his legs, take him down (and lets be honest... a boxer would be great at boxing but he himself would be weak at defending various takedowns cuz thats not his skill set), and then hit him with various attacks from knees, elbows, and then go in for chokes and submissions

I get that Ronda losing has opened up a gate where now its like "look see I told you boxing is superior" but reality it, she was gassed up and cocky and just fault stupidly. She should've realized after the 1st 2 mins its time to do something else. But her pride made her want to beat Holly at her own strength
