yeah I heard about that. Is that the UFC who instituted that or the state commissions? I still think Dana would give Connor damn near six months to cut though if he continues bringing in the cash.

Word going around is that he was ringside at a fight where his teammate beat a guy and the guy that was beaten (Joao Carvalho) ended up dying from the injuries. The implication is that how he felt about it may have played a factor in his decision to retire... :manny:

If so, you can't be mad at that. Dude's achieved a lot of success in a sports with a small window of opportunity to make good money. Doesn't necessarily have to get into the cage to get paid to entertain since he's money behind a hot mic. :salute: if he's done, :salute: if he's not.

yeah I could see why something like that might make him do it. Already rich and made a name for himself and can live off appearances probably. How did that dude die?

this has to be about money

losing to diaz a 2nd time would hurt his brand tremendously.

At 155 he would lose a lot of fights.

and i don't think he can make 145 anymore.
