I liked Rocky's album but you chose the worst example of him 'spitting' my nikka..

and I'm sorry but Jay came off on Picasso Baby. Held his own w/ Frank on Oceans. Got Nas on BBC. Dismantled Weezy on Versus. Swagged and flowed retarded on Tom Ford. bytches love Part II and Beach Is Better. How could you think LLA is up there with this

Son Nas didn't really have a verse on BBC, his energy on the hook made the track in my opinion. I felt like Jay wasn't trying lyrically on this, it was mostly about flows and punchlines and I feel like he just wanted to make a summer album.

Your right about that Tom Ford though :blessed:

A$AP's album had much better reception, out of all the "mainstream" releases this year it got the best reviews. It felt refreshing to hear what Rocky put out, the production is top notch and there's like 12+ bangers out of all the songs counting the bonuses I only really didn't fukk with Fashion Killa and Wild 4 Da Night.

How is that a bad example of him spitting I felt like that was some deep shyt :to:

I saw straight through that.. if you wanna hear how those topics are to be executed, read the lyrics to Dynasty Intro :to:

Rocky gets an E for effort still

I know people don't want to admit it. But Jay did drop the best RAP album this year as far as the Mainstream. I think "Born Sinner" is #2. "Nothing was the Same" is too much of an RnB album to be the best Rap album. Wale's and Big Sean's album was inconsistent. "Yeezus" had moments but was uneven. Macklemore's album went way too pop. Wayne's album was Weed plate. As far as straight up Hip Hop I think ALC and Prodigy also should get a nod. But as far as mainstream rap albums.

Jay Z got these young boys in a headlock. Not only is his album doing the best commercially but quality wise Jay did drop some solid bangers on this album. He also had standout verses on Remixes to "B!tch don't kill my vibe" and on Drake's album "Pound Cake". Jay is proving that he still controls the rap game. Now Eminem is dropping so we will see if his album is good enough quality wise but the Young Lions did not take control. Jay Z outshines all the leaders of the new school this year.

Nah, yeezus, NWTS, Run The Jewels, Albert Einstien, Doris and the both solo albums from A$AP Mob were better.

this album is not even acclaimed and even without the critics, it's really hard to give it a score higher than 6
