It's easy to buy a license (harder now), and people just drive like animals. Lawlessness is normal, especially outside of major cities - you can always pay off the police, and nobody actually expects to end up in an accident while doing that wild shyt.
I've seen some crazy stuff, like a car that somehow flipped over a 1-meter tall metal barrier on the highway and onto the other side... cars completely twisted around light poles... I live right next to a popular racing spot in Moscow. You see some really expensive cars there - M3's, M5's, porsches, ferraris, souped-up evo's, etc... And a lot of the time, you see the results of all that racing
shyt's wild out here. My friends overseas never believe me when I tell them about half the stuff that goes down here on an everyday basis. Especially having worked with the gov't on some projects
