Major labels cook numbers and inflate them all the time, it makes me question sales of today from the past when social media or streaming wasn’t around. I’m wondering how many listens they got once the album dropped.

A lot of albums now are reaching diamond status cause of those streaming sales, it’s all cooked. Maybe there’s fans who might be buying unsold discs somewhere but who knows how accurate the numbers are.
