Historically in hiphop...That's white people shyt. Not Hip Hop shyt. In Hip Hop if you cheat you are exiled, well it used to be like that. Not "well he cheats, let us cheat too".
It's like boxing. If one boxer is on steroids and KOs his opponent, the boxing committee doesn't say "Well maybe you should have used steroids too"
No, they ban/discipline the cheater. Problem is, when white culture invaded a black genre/culture there's always these new rules applied. It's shameful actually.
As garbage as Meek is (now) still doesn't negate the fact that Drake is bad for Hip Hop and Meek was in a no win situation. Especially in a situation where the accused (Drake) shouldn't have been able to drop a diss track after getting exposed like that. Historically in Hip Hop, shyt like that doesn't happen.
shut the fukk up.
That was my first thought watching that interview with Wale that came out this week. He's like Kanye West in how he speaks (in both good and bad ways).I chopped it up with wale briefly at walemania in the bay area and he's just very opinionated and passionate about everything he's interested in. He's similar to kanye in that he doesn't think before speaking sometimes and can be long winded. It's not a bad thing but in hip-hop it can rub ppl the wrong way because it can come off as insecure. He's a cool dude tho. we went from talking about seth rollins to sneakers and was just listening and jumping in random conversations.
meek is insecure and sensitive. I feel like if ross sits meek down and put him on game and tell him to control his emotions then he'll take it as a sign of disrespect.
talkin bout Dre gay ass/ snoop hiding under blankets continently catching fades from Suge? And how he'd want to get off death row cause his money ain't right? How Janet wants him to take an aids test to play opposit her
are we gone act like wale ain't on that suicide watch hotline bling
all money ain't good money/ all wins ain't good wins no kids got buster Douglas pics on they wall meek took an L but legacies and careers can withstand that if you know how to finess the publicWe gonna act like everything he said about Wale isnt true.
I'm not a fan of Wale at all but hes way less bytch than Meek real talk.

Historically in hiphop...shut the fukk up.
Historically in hiphop Vanilla Ice and Mc Hammer sold more than your favorite rappers biggest albums. Historically in hiphop Mark Wahlberg had bigger hits than A tribe called quest. Historically in hiphop Nas helped Will Smith sell more than he sold during his whole career. Historically in hiphop Daz ghost produced for Dre and Kurupt and Snoop wrote verses for each other. Historically in hiphop Dr. Dre and Eazy E dropped two of the most legandary diss tracks, but didn't write them.
That historically in hiphop bs is the biggest revisionist shyt in hiphop culture.
