Horrible, horrible logic

First off Vanilla Ice, Hammer, Marky Mark and Will Smith was considered pop. So if that's the tag we're putting on Drake, so be it.

Also half the shyt you're saying is just wild conjecture. Daz ghost produced for Dre? :mjlol:

I'm on record criticizing Dre for using "help" too much but you can't make a claim like another guy was ghost producing for him.

Hell, I'll even give you that point. The problem with your logic is nobody knew that Daz was "ghost producing". Or that Rakim, not Nas, wrote "Summertime".

So essentially you're condemning people for not doing something about things they had no idea about.

Unlike now. We know everything about Drake and people are still giving him passes.

Lastly Dre and Eazy wasn't running around claiming to be the best rappers out....the head of their generation....a GOAT contender on the mic....and all this other bullshyt Drake and his fanbase have pushed. If Drake came out, day 1, and openly had ghost writers (like Puff) there is no problem. His fans are upset we're holding him to a standard he set for himself, that he didn't even have to.

Fred.
You are obsessed, STFU. Every post you make is disparaging Drake. Let his nuts breathe

Rakim didn't write Summertime bro. I know this for a fact. Will didn't write it but Rakim didn't either. And I think dude was talkin bout Nas writing most of Will Smith's Big Willie Style album.

I'm gonna need some receipts if you factually know Rakim didn't write it breh. Because people with nothing to gain from lying, like DJ Clark Kent, have said he did.

Regardless, "Summertime" and/or "Big Willie Style" is a moot point because A. Will Smith was a pop rapper, so having a ghost writer wasn't a problem and B. nobody knew he had ghost writers.

1. I'm not talking about Drake, I'm addressing something else, the world does not evolve around him.

2. I have no respect for old heads opinions anymore, they are too sentimental about their youth and too out of touch with today's landscape. :manny:.

3. Mind you that the 90s hip hop is my favorite era of any genre, however the more people like yourself keep up this revisionist shyt like it was all gravy. The less respect the next generations will have for the era.
