Wale is well rounded but he's missing that IT

He used the R&B/Hip Hop blend for his two most successful albums (Ambition & The Gifted) and it worked well for him. The one thing he really had over Meek was his versatility. Meek was giving you nothing but Gritty street anthems..

That was the edge fellas. Nothing more nothing less. In mainstream hip hop it's about great songs and cohesive albums that stick.


MEEK WAS one dimensional however, with this album he showed growth and versatility. Tracks with Chris Brown and his "girl friend" made the final cut over street records we're all craving that he teased us with all last year.

No real single in rotation (Monster ain't on the album, the Chris Brown/Nicki record dropped last week)


Wale promoted TAAN for months.....with another basic formula single.... And he's album did ok.. But compared to his last two projects on MMG it saw a sales decline.. The public isn't interested in Wale as much as wants them to be..

Dream chasers 2 was actually trash. What's wrong with these nikkas. Beat selection was terrible. Number three however was fire
