Who is the "bad rapper"? Cardi? I think Cardi is dope so who are u talking about? Megan is "the better rapper"? Why? Because u say so?
This is why u are asking silly questions...I already said Cardi has the edge in 1) Production 2) different content 3) better singles.
So if Megan lacks these 3 things but only edges her in one (being more lyrical)...How could u say Cardi is the "bad rapper" when she edges Megan in 3 important factors? And this is me playing along, knowing u are biased towards Cardi and aint heard both albums.

no i haven't listened to both, it's 10am on a workday and megan's album just dropped, however i did listen to her mixtapes. none of this has anything to do with trying to understand why someone who likes the "lyrically superior" artist would be a hypocrite for not liking the lyrically inferior artist...at that point, wouldn't it simply be a preference for the better rapper?
production = nothing to do with rapping, so how is cardi the better rapper for this?
content = they're the same based on what i heard from meg's past work - both cover typical ratchet female content
singles = this isn't measure of a rapper, it's made up the components already listed - what lyrics/flow you're lacing over what production, content on the single is subjective and/or might not matter as long as the beat slaps
there is no bias against cardi, she's simply not a good rapper, she is given great production, she's given lyrics and the she copies the flow of the person who wrote for her...cardi is winning at personality and building a following. nothing about her as an artist is good or unique. her popularity as a SM/reality tv star paired with dope production and good looks has propelled her music career. calling out the obvious is not biased, it's reality. i've seen the biggest fans of cardi admit those things, they don't listen to her because she's good, they listen to turn up to a chick they like

But Hollow never made a bunch big hit songs that the streets bowed down to as well as went mainstream like 50. Hollow has underground fame. Thats Megan compared to Cardi. Go make a thread right now and say "50 Cent is worse then Hollow Da Don/Hollow Da Don is better then 50 Cent."

I thought Cardi had a very well put together album, but saying she has “flow” is lmaoooo. She raps like she’s struggling to remember what was written for her. But there’s no reason to put them against each other, there’s room for both.

i agree, but dude acting like cardi owns anything in this female rap game is laughable. at the end of the day, all of them are basic af in content and skill, especially when compared to the diversity of female rappers in the 90's through early 00's, but i'm happy to at least see a female scene popping up again
Its timestamped. U think I'm just talking for the sake of talking? This is the same flow Cardi used on Bartier Cardi. Now personally if u ask me...I think she just borrowed it for a second because she only does it once.
