stole, & based off what Prince is talking, he ain't letting that go
The reason I’m skeptical of that and not saying you’re wrong is shorty been promoting Dusse with that drive the boat shyt all summer. I find it hard to believe there wasn’t already a relationship there. Secondly JPrince just defended Hov a few weeks ago with that NFL shyt.

I could be wrong considering there isn’t a post on Carl Crawford’s page about this Megan/Roc Nation deal

Yes I'm aware. She's also distributed by 300 (Atlantic) and this Roc Nation deal is a management deal. I'm just not sure what JPrince is getting at with the post. Is he congratulating dude for getting Meg to Roc Nation or is he insinuating Roc Nation stole her from him.
Carl signed her to his label way back in 2016

When she got hot major labels were all over her wanting to sign, but she was already signed to 1501 Ent. At this point the indie label can either:

A. Sell the artist's contract to a major label for a pretty penny (Kodak Black, NBA Youngboy, Young Thug etc.)
B. Do a joint venture deal with the label for the particular artist (Da Baby, Migos etc)
C. Keep the artist entirely & look for a distribution deal for their label (doesn't happen much anymore because labels don't give distro deals like that anymore, but a prior example would be Juvenile/Cash Money)

This happens a LOT with rappers who get local buzzes then blow up nationally

I'm aware of this. Meg is signed to 300 (Atlantic) as her label. My confusion is

1. Is she in a joint venture with 1501 and 300 like you mentioned in B. On wiki 1501 is credited on her album and most recent singles

2. If she is still under terms with 1501 why would they be upset at her for getting a Roc Nation management deal or are they even upset and we're just reading JPince's post wrong?

Great Deal for Jay and bad deal for her

she already has a huge following, don’t need to get that shytty deal from the ROC
It’s a management deal not record deal. Roc Nation doesn’t and hasn’t signed artists to record deals outside of J.Cole Vic Mensa Rihanna and Willow.

If she plans on touring and leveraging that following Roc Nation management is the best path for that since they’re in bed with Live Nation.

You say it's a shytty deal and don't know the details? How do you know Roc Nation didn't help her get this "huge following". She's been "driving the boat" with Dusse for a year now. I'm not naive to believe they haven't had a relationship all this time.

Jay Electonica, Casanova, Jaden Smith, The Lox, Rapsody, and Belly are signed to the label also.
