The artist is always the very last person to get paid. IIRC, royalties usuually take at least 6 months to even start coming in. Her best hope is that 1501 doesn't have good records or these social media posts by Carl & J. Prince.

The biggest problem in all of this is T. Farris. He's allegedly played both sides and might have sabatoged her 1501 so that he could eat off of her at Roc Nation. Remember he's the one Carl had handling the business. He did this supposedly "bad" contract, yet Megan keeps him and they both go to Roc Nation?

I typically always side with the artist when it comes to these kinds of deals, but they should be looking at these things like athletes. That rookie deal isnt what you think it will be, and sign it with free agency in mind. If you're bust, then you made your money. If you blow up? The development of talent (both inside and outside the business) should flourish.
