Sad, this shows that the legal system has no mercy when you try to explain to them that you messed up.
Nah breh, this aint it. Dudes a grown ass man who lead a gang terrorizing folks. Thats far from "messing up". He knew full well what he was doing and knew the risks that come with being involved in that life. Early death or prison are the usual results. He chose this.

If I’m not mistaken entrapment is when you try to convince a target to commit a crime they wouldn’t otherwise be prone to committing

Providing an opportunity for a drug dealer to sell drugs isn’t entrapment
So if someone comes to you tells you they can supply you with drugs and then provide you with someone to sell it to you don't feel that fits into that? It's borderline to me atleast :yeshrug:

No breh, that's not how it works and there really isn't a borderline.

He knew what he was doing.

Being a Detroit nicca I assume you're familiar with how the Feds put regular niccas under the jail on RICO charges.

I know Detroit niccas that got popped for a couple baggies of heroin that got 30 YEARS on gang and distribution charges.

This whole 69/9 trey case is suspect to me. 11 years is a scooby snack considering the charges brought. All these sentences are light as f*ck for what they allege these niccas were doing. Everybody involved is getting wrist slapped while regular niccas I know have gotten hit with 30 and 40 year sentences. And there's some other nikkas they wanted that didn't even get arrested.

Something don't add up.
In Ro Murda’s sentencing the judge specifically stated that they had to shutdown the investigation early. Mel and Jim talking that super violate shyt on the phone in someway actually saved all of them from getting more time. Well everyone but Harv and Nuke, they’re going to get the book thrown at them for taking it to trial.

I think it depends on if he was “encouraged” by the undercover to sell the drugs

simply providing the opportunity for mel to sell the drugs isn’t entrapment I don’t think
