I think it all stems from his rookie year. He and Lebron were supposed to be the next Magic and Bird. But Lebron is just better than him so people are mad at him for not holding up his end of the bargain.

It's trash but the Knicks would be able to flip Reddikk to a contender, or a team that wants to make the playoffs.


The best bet with the Clippers would be a 3 team trade.

Even if we were to flip Reddik to a contender and get that teams draft pick. That contender will definitely be picking in the 20's, yeah you can get lucky and find that stud, teams do it every year. But the chances of that happening are very slim. And the same goes if clippers threw in a first rounder for Melo, again same draft scenario.

I'm all for trading Melo, but it has to be for the right piece. I don't wanna trade Melo for a late first round pick. It's also a chance that the top 5 pick becomes a bust, but I'd be more willing to accept that fate than select someone with the 27th pick.

Melo isn't going to get traded. This is manufactured buzz from the media during a slow sports week. His contract and NTC makes him immovable. I'd be completely shocked if he gets dealt.
