I actually agree with this. People are still in the honeymoon phase. I like the kid, he has so much potential, but I see where you coming from. At Atlanta, missing 2/3 freethrows at the end of OT to take it into 2OT was inexcusable for a guy who can shoot the way he does.

I like him too, but when he has a bad game, people need to hold him accountable as well. I will be defending him when the fans turn on him as well.

Melo is not even capable of leading a team to the playoffs in the east.

It is better to see what you ultimately have with Porzingis than to waste the final productive years of Melo's career. How are you guys not getting this?
I didnt say anything to the contrary. KP needs more touches. Anyone who watches the Knicks will tell you this. But he isn't really doing the most he can with the touches he's getting at the moment is what that guy is saying. KP will be a superstar...its clear as day.

Also, I keep hearing people say this. Our roster is laughably bad. Melo cannot work miracles. Having said that, we have lost so many games by less than 5 points this losing streak. We have been unlucky as well as have had terrible execution down the stretch.

The Knicks roster sucks but Melo sucks too

They are willing to trade Ibaka, someone they gave up Victor Oladipo and a draft pick for, they also offered Vuccimane and a first rounder for Goran Dragic. Their team is DESPERATE to make the playoffs, their GM has made awful moves left and right and is in panic mode to save his job. The Magic are supposedly looking to trade for shooting, Reddikk who is hitting 44% from three sort of fits that bill, right?

The same 5th pick that doesn't play, ever?

You can get shooting at other positions instead of pissing away whatever youth they have left for a guy that will likely bolt for a contender in the summer. Their problem isn't shooting from the 2 guard spot. Their problems are production from 1 and 3 and their log jam up front. They're desperate to move Ibaka because they know he ain't coming back.

But, your point was why would they trade for Redikk, when clearly they aren't making rational decisions over there since they already moved Oladipo + Sabonis for a dude who isn't coming back. They just tried a lineup with Jeff Green at the 2, there's all kinds of desperation coming out of Orlando right now. I'd put money up that they'd go with -

Payton
Redikk
Fournier
Gordon
Vucci

Lineup if they traded for JJ :hubie:

Ya they fukked up before but I don't think they will follow it up with another irrational decision. But :yeshrug:... I just find it hard to believe someone can make questionable decisions one after the other and still retain their job.
