If Melo was about it, why he didn't bring a local politician during his visit to those same favelas of which he used protection to get up there?

and there isnt anything warm or welcoming about that shyt. I like Melo as a ball player. Be that. Inspire the youngsters through your play on the court

and your actions off the court. To me, there isnt a damn thing to glorify about your ability to call the hood home. Glorify the need to effect change in those

neighborhoods that people call home.

I take no issue with Melo going to the favelas or people celebrating it... But i doubt a bunch of Portuguese? speaking residents just randomly blessed him with a hood pass. At most they only see him on tv (usually) how would they even have gotten a solid feel of his personality?
