we all have been watching the playoffs, stats alone wont show the energy on the floor, the swarming defense theyre playing, and most importantly the 100% effort given on the floor at all times by these two (the shyt needed to win championships). their body language alone is telling the story :francis:
LBJ's a good leader. But JR's always been talented. He just needed out of New York.

What you saying doesn't make sense because he been to the wcf playing with melo, he won 6th man of the year he won 54 games playing with Melo

off natural talent, but he always came with baggage, dude fell off and became a coli joke everytime he shot the ball. he is focused now and its very noticable

we are ignoring it because we know thats bullshyt
:russ: yea dude made tahiry ass famous on a national level, I aint saying he aint a non fukk given party head, im insinuating that a winning culture and playing with REAL LEADERSHIP got him focused, cuase believe me those same hoes, drugs and partys can also happen in cleveland if he wanted them too

I fukks with this point:ehh:

I'm just saying the nightlife took hold of him especially how JR wasn't focused on the court and more focused on getting some ass from Rihanna and them(I dont blame him:steviej:)

Watching JR in NY was more frustrating than ever even though there are stretches where he would 5 or 6 threes in the row like hes doing now for Cleavland and look money. Differences here is all he has to do is catch and shoot (Same with Shump) in Cleveland. Makes his job more easy than it was in NY

Well since this thread is about JR Smith and Shumpert playing better alongside LBJ instead of Melo, can someone actually post their stats so far in Cleveland compared to their NY stats? Get on it statatiscians. Chop, Chop!!

So let me get this straight. When Jr smith won 6th man of the year helping the knicks win 54 games and get to the second round of the playoffs it was all of natural ability he wasn't focused at all? He avg 18 a game that year shot 42% from the field. But now that he is with the cavs he has focus and he averagin 13 a game shooting 43% from the field.

Get the fukk outta here. We beat the Nuggets because we were flat out better
All Melo did was score and choke against the Lakers. Melo is the main reason the Nuggets didn't beat us in 09.

In 08 Luke fukking Walton shut him down whenever they matched up. Melo always been nothing but a choker.

I'd love to have JR as a backup 2 guard in Miami. But he might go on a Coke binge and spend his nights falling asleep at KOD if Dwade don't bring out the belt. I wish LBJ could've kept Beasley in order.

:mjcry:

But there was rumor that LBJ yelled at Beasley like an angry parent for putting fries in his own ice cream.

I can't explain it. I can't obtain it. Even Brian Windhorst said it. He wasn't playing horribly, offensive wise alongside Melo. LBJ definitely is a great motivator, so he seems more motivated defensively. But part of JR's "resurrection" with LBJ is perception rather than reality. LBJ is that powerful, said Windhorst. I'm sure LBJ has him motivated defensively.

Thats a valid point but when u aint winning shyt then what motivation is there to take care of your body, eat well/sleep well? nikkas just wasnt focused and LeBron taught dude how to be a professional when he led by example

we are ignoring it because we know thats bullshyt, when youre rich there partys and hoes everywhere, what the hell do you expect him to say, carmelo is a ball stopper and not fun to play with and lebron is superior in every way imaginable and runs the floor way better, and just flat out makes the game fun for us, and that lebron gets me so open that I have to wait for someone to come play defense before i shoot the ball????
Game 1 of the Hawks series JR Smith shot and made multiple contested isolation shots. The same shots he was missing in NY. In fact, he made so many he said "I rather shoot a contested shot than an open one" after the game
