That's the feeling I've gotten. He's doing all the right things, saying "opt in" etc... but I don't think he wants melo. I think he's ready to reset the roster next year, and start from that.
Do you think the Knicks fear he will opt out and sign outright somewhere leaving them without the ability to sign/trade?

Gordon is a horse, n/h. He can run up and down the court with anyone and doesn't need the ball to be successful.

Low key, he shot 35% from 3.

But his mid range game looks funny in the light, he's not a natural PF or SF, cant handle the ball, and shot horrible from the FT line:scusthov:

I think he's a taller Wesley Johnson like I said before:manny:

Maybe, you never know for sure with prospects. :manny:

Him being able to hit 3's makes me less concerned with his FT shooting. Obviously it has to improve, but he has the capability of getting a lot better. Seems mental to me.

No. Because I don't think they want added salary. And if you sign and trade, unless it's with the perfect team... I don't think you can keep from bringing back 2-3 year deals. Which they don't want.

If you were going to do a sign and trade, you'd need multiple teams... a straight up trade would look something like this.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=l9jgetw with the Rockets sending picks.

I've resigned to the idea that he's going to the Heat. All the same, familiar rumblings from however many years ago. fukk him, his rickety shoulder and his bug eyed wife.

Get a pick or two this draft, run with this squad and load up in 2015. Let's get it.

Bulls can ship Boozer's expiring & and our 2 1sts... :shaq:

I just dont know if it would work on the Knicks side with Amare already on the roster at 20 mil but 2 1st round picks would be huge for ya'll

:damholdon:

Thanks...but no thanks. Rookies can't do anything for us.
:dwillhuh:

ya'll need draft picks in the WORST way... you're telling me you'd rather have Melo walk for nothing, rather than deal/pay with Boozer for a season and have the 16th & 19th pick??

I could see management and ownership maybe being aganist it since they pay the bills, but as a fan you should be all for it :ld:

Id actually have more respect for him if he does, i was convinced that hes content being a stat stuffing loser who just wants the freedom to chuck shots all game,if he takes less to go to a contending team id look at him in a better light
