:dwillhuh:

ya'll need draft picks in the WORST way... you're telling me you'd rather have Melo walk for nothing, rather than deal/pay with Boozer for a season and have the 16th & 19th pick??

I could see management and ownership maybe being aganist it since they pay the bills, but as a fan you should be all for it :ld:
Did Toure Murray or Tim Hardaway Jr. help us last year? We don't want any parts of Boozer breh.... Nor do we want anyones leftovers anymore.

We want a fresh start and will live with our own mistakes instead of inheriting another organizations.

I understand your logic breh. But dealing with Chicago for the assets you have available seems like an old Knick solution. We would get laughed at.

If we are going to suck, it will be because we made a decision to start at the bottom....Not because we traded for garbage and dreams.

Asik, Lin, Jones and a 1st

Melo will still be taking a paycut though. That is why I see him going to Miami.
Bulls can offer Boozer's expiring, 16th, 19th picks, and the one of the highest rated international players in Mirotic

I think considering what the Knicks are looking for.. we can offer a better deal than Houston.

His best bet is to stay in NY, if he's really about trying to win, give Fisher & Jackson at least one year and then reevaluate. Next yr's free agent class is much better and he can recruit some help to the Knicks. He's not going to MIA or LAL

Hes going on his 12th year Melo doesnt have much prime left to throw next year away knowing theyres no chance to contend and hoping in 2015 they get the right pieces

I dont see a 16 million expiring, the 16th & 19th picks and the possibly the highest rate Euro prospect as garbage breh

That sounds like a nice package for a team looking to hit a reset button.

@I.V. thoughts?

Toure Murray
JR Smith
2 rookies (Who would we even land?) Projections have Tyler Ennis and TJ Warren available at those spots. (Honestly, I would take Shabazz Napier and PJ Hairston, though)
Tim Hardaway Jr.
Lamar Odom
Stat

Not sure that we can rely on anyone there for leadership or consistency. We even have a rookie coach.

But....I agree now...if we drafted Shabazz and PJ, I would be excited and content even if we had a losing 2015 season. +rep.

I know... ya'll would suck, get a top 5 pick and have unlimited capspace all in the same summer.

All the while progressing young guys like Hardaway, and whoever you draft @ 16, 19.

Oh, and Mirotic.

You just need to accept a really rough year 1 under Phil/Fish and then let them go to work next summer.

Its not going to happen overnight breh, this would be rebuilding the RIGHT way.

Nah...we'll take him too. You can take Jeremy Tyler and Pablo Prigs. Or Lamar. Whatever works money-wise.
Knicks dont want to take on his salary though I figured.

Mirotic would make more sense for ya'll in a trade.
