Wowwwww that's crazy right there. I mean, I'm sure most of us have been in that type of situation where you're sitting on the sidelines of some major shyt that is about to blow up and you want to warn the person taking the hit ahead of time, but they just won't listen. Bleek comparing it to telling a homie that his girl is slinging it for everybody sounds about right. Dame acted like he was invincible and shocked by what happened, so this is falling right in line with what Bleek is saying. I wonder why he feel it is ok to tell this now? :jbhmm: I mean, this happened years ago.

You can't escape karma. Outside of 35+ year old Stans who look at jigga as a father figure, jay is almost irrelevant. Young artists aren't clamoring for features, no ones remaking his hits, if it wasn't for Beyonce he would have vanished into thin air after the def jam debacle. The only artist associated with jay still eating is kanye and letting him rap on the ROC was Dame's idea.

The feminization of black men is disgusting. Jay selling out combined with the fall of murder inc, the neutering of j prince by the feds (which may all be related if you believe the conspiracy) benefitted the fukk outta Jay, but left the door wide open for white execs to take advantage of young fatherless black men who have never learned to be asassertive. fukk Jay Z (in my PAC voice)
stop it. None of these young nikkaz can't get a jay ft cause he treats his features as something special. U think these youth artist wouldn't kill they self for a jay feature? First they can't afford it and 2nd they haven't gained enough respect in the game to get one

Jcole is making money also, plus the artist that jay manages

I don't care what that says I remember in real time what happened wit that chick. nikka was nowhere near her until Tearra failed. He signed Tearra to The Roc. If he discovered Rihanna and wanted her he would've done the same. He moved on to Rihanna after she was gettin a lIL buzz. And dropped Tearra. And basically had her blackballed.

Jay didn't discover Rihanna. Tearra Marie was who he discovered. Jay doesn't have a great eye for talent at all. As psycho as Dame is he is the one who found all the dopest talent on The Roc. From Ye to all of State Prop. To Dipset. To MOP. Basically anyone worth a damn on that label was found and/or brought in by Dame.
L.A. Reid signed Tearra Marie before jay-z even took the pres position

Dude doesn't know what he is talking about, and is pretty much making up shyt out of his dislike for Hov. Those words I quoted came straight from LA Reid, and he still wants to believe otherwise.

Here is more from LA on the subject...

The funny thing about Rihanna's success was that we signed two girls at that time -- Rihanna and a lovely young lady named Teairra Mari. We had an in-house company showcase and Beyoncé happened to be there with Jay Z. Teairra Mari, Rihanna, a four-girl group called Black Butterfly and Ne-Yo performed. At the label, we thought Teairra Mari would be the big star. We spent more time on her, did more work on her, paid more attention to her. Rihanna already had a hit with "Pon De Replay," but we still thought it was the other girl.

IIRC..Dame released Muscle Car Chronicles without his permission after Curren$y had signed a new contract with Warner Bros & owed Curren$y some bread & he sued Dame..They ended up settling the lawsuit late last yr for like 3 mil after like 3 yrs of legal rambling..

This isn't exactly what happened.

Dame & Curren$y did business together, but didn't sign any papers. Dame flew him out here, put him up in a loft in Tribeca(rent free), and covered all studio time. Curren$y made MCC then out of nowhere signed to Warner & bounced on Dame. He didn't see an issue with that cause no paperwork was signed, just a hand shake.

MCC came out of that ordeal & since dame fronted every cent to make that project, he felt it was his & released it.

I don't know who signed who.

but I know tierra was signed to the roc and rihanna wasn't.

and jay started hyping up rihanna more after the fact.

Man I give Dame credit where it's due. Jay ain't innocent in the shyt either. I used to actually be more on Dame's side when it came to the breakup. But nah fam. That nikka ain't got it all up there mentally. Dude has some mental issues he needs to work out asap. He's completely out of touch with reality. Jay ain't really give a fukk about most of the artists on the Roc. And he was a user. And Dame brought in most of the talent to the Roc. No doubt about it. But nikkas couldn't stand Dame. And that's cause of the kind of person that nikka was. Plus he was fukkin the artists over as well. And didn't even learn his lesson. What proved what kinda snake that nikka was was what he did with Curren$y. Spitta went from completely trusting the nikka to having to sue him. Smh.

why do people just call out dame, like jay wasn't jerkin niccas too?

and jay was doing stuff that dame prolly wasn't involved with. like giving the young gunz table scraps for performing at a show, like they barely had a mixtape out, when in reality, they were a grammy nominated group.

I remember hearing personally outta of Peedi Crakks mouth when Roc-a-Fella was still together that none of them could stand Dame

peedi should've just spoke for himself. and its not like he stayed cordial with jay-z much longer.

dame was the one handling the day-to-day business, so of course hes gonna get on people's nerves.
jay may have been the one on the side that was chill and you were cool with him cuz of that, but he was chill cuz he could care less about their careers.:heh:

Nah I'm not just blaming Dame. Both them nikkas was foul in they own ways. I'm just callin out Dame for being mentally ill and delusional. nikka burned a million bridges due to his narcissism. That's real talk. Tryna argue wit Dame is like arguing with a kid or an irrational female. Facts won't matter. Also the bolded is exactly what I was talkin bout wit the Jay and Tearra situation and these nikkas tryna play dumb like I'm hatin on Jay or somethin. Jay signed Tearra to Rocafella records. He fukked wit her more. He didn't really give a fukk about Rihanna till after the fact. Anyone who was around in real time knows these are facts.
