Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Keep in mind what their goal is. Making the playoffs is the prime objective. Beyond that, it’s sprinkles on ice cream.

They're going to lose Evans, they're capped out and have Lord Finesse on the hook for 2 more years, Conley who can't stay healthy and a declining Gasol, it's doubtful they'll make the playoffs next year.

But if you add a top pick, it keeps you in the convo. Hell, it might even convince a decent coach to go there. Even if the idea is "trade everyone and clear everything," they couldn't even if they wanted to unless they wanna take 35 cents on the dollar for a guy who doesn't wanna leave anyway in Gasol. The only difference between Memphis and other "tankers" is that they don't wanna make this a habit.

Nah, they're probably gonna do some dumb shyt like pass on Ayton because of Gasol. Their setup is not ideal, if Conley and Gasol were in their mid 20s it would be fine, but this is not the dream at all :scust:
Doncic at the 4 then

The changes in the lottery next year will be interesting for tanking teams. The odds are much lower to get the top pick for the worst teams. We'll see a lot more random teams jumping into the top of the lottery.
