U do shift work now or 12 8hr days?Yeah I only work 12 days a month. However I had to work 80hour weeks to work there
Or you could…ya know…go to fukking college and get a good job. Or work towards a trade. If there’s a community misunderstanding it’s the general inexperience many young people - and especially black people - have about jobs vs careers. This type of advice may sound logical if your idea of work revolves around retail and the service industry. If you’re applying yourself and working towards an actual career, this advice is laughable. The comments in this thread is alarming

No one is trying to tear the system down. There are very few active "resistance" instruments.
I don’t fully agree with your 2nd paragraph, but I do agree that the comments are a bit shocking and there possibly needs to be a shift in thought. The comments in this thread is alarming

The messed up part is that’s what the few always wanted. They want the old worlldd orderr gone.As material conditions get progressively worse people will not only start to imagine a better alternative to the system we have now, they'll demand it.
People are still operating as if our future will resemble the era of excess and relative economic stability enjoyed by our baby boomer parents. Those days are long gone. We are currently approaching the tail end of late stage Capitalism. The average American will continue to be priced out of everything, while the wealth will be hoarded by a few.
