Men: do y'all get complimented frequently?

real question. As a woman, it's nothing to be complimented daily/multiple times a day by men and women. Sometimes it's about looks, other times an outfit or jewelry or hairstyle...but I'm wondering how often men get complimented? Y'all gonna assume I wanna fukk if I start complimenting y'all?

But as a man... I don't think we trip off that. We get validation in other ways.

I never know if the shyt is genuine anyway.

I keep to myself and mind my business so I get suspicious when folks start randomly complimenting me

Very few men, if any at all, will ever be complimented a few times a day like women are, but some will be complimented more than others.

I don't get complimented often. Usually if I do, it's within in the context of dating/companionship with I shouldn't be alone with my looks. Outside of hoes whose phone bill I took care of, I've gotten random compliments on my looks 2 twice. They were attractive but I wasn't involved with them.

As far as dressing and haircuts, the phrase "you clean up well" is very applicable to me.

As for your 2nd question, depends, but a good amount of the time I take for meaning they are feeling me.

...every night i walk into the workplace, this zesty little dude be complimenting me on my kicks....talking, "damn o3, back at it again with the white vans!"

or were you only talking about females? is so, these young 20+ year old girls, also at my job, dig my faux glasses, but they don't know their fake, so when i come in the next night without them on, they ask, "o3 where are your glasses...we're supposed to be #teambifocals". i tell them i don't really wear glasses like that--i have 20/20 vision...........they get all mad and call me a phony and a fraud like i just swindled them out their money.
