I like to think of it as my karma cause I stay helping old ladies and women with strollers when I’m on the train.
I was raised by a single mom, so I got a soft spot for women doing it on their own.
I speak to the woman who just got off her shytty job, you can tell she's exhausted and about to go home and deal with more bs.
I'm just like "how's your day going" and crack a corny joke.
And no I don't flirt or try to get their number

Yes, whether they're just family or friends no woman who knows me can say I've never came through in the clutch for em.

I'm like that with everybody tho; man or woman. I don't do it for an ego boost; just an exceptional black man helping my personal peeps.

I don’t do them as much for strangers, just because in this day and age, a lot of women perceive any male attention as a proposition, especially at work. I always open doors, and give up my seat on the train.

Aka are you a gentleman?

I’m at the train station and the escalator is out of service, a man just carried my suitcase up the stairs! I’m so excited I needed to make a thread.

nope.

why couldn't you carry that up the stairs?
you got working arms, right?
if you didn't want to carry a suitcase and/or you didn't anticipate you may have to carry said suitcase up a flight of stairs, you shouldn't bring a suitcase out the house

The escalator was broken and yes I was prepared to carry it up the stairs but he offered to help, I wasn’t gonna turn that down.

For strangers? Sometimes, yeah. Older women, anytime I notice. Carry a suitcase or bags. Ask if they need help to reach the top shelf at the store etc.
If its my woman or close homegirl, I open doors, walk outside etc. Everyone thinks im mean and they may be right but im very chivalrous.:yeshrug:

Nah I’d rather fukk than have a thread dedicated to me. Carrying your bag won’t get that p*ssy wet.
