Not too long ago me and my mom were going on a cruise in Italy and our Uber driver dropped us off too far away from our ship. We started walking with all of our luggage, struggling like crazy. This Spanish man noticed us, started carrying our suitcases and helped us get transportation to the ship. It had to have been over a mile that we had to walk and he took us the whole way. Super nice of him. Not too many people would be that helpful.

@OP

I’ll tell u what. U know who loves you when it’s moving day.:wow:

Had a gang of my homies literally load up my apartment and unload it. Hell they even set up my bed, and helped me arrange my furniture. And I got HEAVY real wood mahogany and cherry wood furniture.

Men do nice shyt for me all the time. But I’m not a parasite. My home is open and the chill out spot b/c they helped me build it.
I cook for them sometimes and help them with coursework and resume building and jobs. Help them with laundry and stuff.

People should do for each other according to their strengths.

When it was their turn to move, I helped them pack up their apartments and labeled all their boxes and helped them unpack too. And I did some lifting too.

But sometimes the packing is worse than the actual move.
If u not dealing with a$$holes, things just kinda fall in place.

And it’s beautiful.:yeshrug:

I hope you tipped his ass because that's what he was hoping for.

Outside of holding the door open, you'll have to ask me. Need something off the top shelf at the grocery store? Ask. Need me to help you with something heavy? Ask.

I prefer staying to myself far too much to be be OD with chivalry, and in today's climate it seems far too easy to catch a case or ridicule or misinterpretation.

You have to be related or someone I've known for a while to get a nice thing out of me unprompted.

Yes but not just exclusive to women. A guy at the store had a dead battery so I helped him get it jumped and went about my business. with women the same. But I’ve seen women try to guilt you to help them. Lol.

I was on a plane and this girl brought some big ass carry on. She looks around and goes “ I wish a real man who was raised right would help me?” Lol. She didn’t have to do all that. Somebody was gonna help her anyway.

Thats the type of shyt that would make me make eye contact with her, then turn my head

Above the fray.
Aka are you a gentleman?

I’m at the train station and the escalator is out of service, a man just carried my suitcase up the stairs! I’m so excited I needed to make a thread.

Am a gentleman. But did the guy who carried your bags look like this?

I do as many or more nice things for my bros and other men :dame: as they're generally more appreciative.

I do nice things for everyone.... so naturally some chicks have benefited. It all comes down to the vibe u give off when doin said gesture, I'm always chillin so its always received well without females thinking I got ulterior motives.

But I don't loan chicks $$$.... they be quick to receive it n turtles to give it back....
